Martin started in the bicycle trade aged 15 in 1984. Working in the local bicycle shop. As a keen cyclist, started Cycle Tech in March 2008. And is cytech 1 & 2 qualified. With Martin’s mechanical background and training he is able to work to a high standard. Having a fully equipped mobile workshop. cycletech can come to your home or place of work. No need to take your bike to the shop again!
With all types of work carried out. From punctures to total rebuilds. Brake Hydraulic Repair Specialist. Brake hose replacements, system overhaul, brake fluid and bleed. Wheel building, gear & brake set ups, chain & sprockets replaced. Service checks, adjustments and lubricants. All done at your location.

I started fixing bicycles back in the 80..s. When I was riding bmx..s. First fixing friends Bikes and then getting a job working at the local bike shop,in High Wycombe part time Saturdays and holidays and then I left school at 15 to work full time. Spending all my money on building my own bikes and my time riding.

INTERIM SERVICE :

Bike set-up to fit rider
Check and adjust brakes
Check and adjust gears
Check tyre pressures and tread wear
Adjust headset
Check for chain and drivetrain wear
Lubrication of drivechain (chain, gears and associated components)
Check torque of bike components
Diagnostics check and advice on any further work required

FULL PREMIUM SERVICE:

Comprises Interim Service plus:
Complete strip down, clean and re-greasing of components
Complete check on all components
Check wheels and hubs
Brake service, including inner and outer casing change (cost of cables included)
Gear cable change and re-tune (cost of cables included)
Wheels tensioned and trued

Service does not include work on suspension forks or rear shocks but will include a diagnostics check on them, and customers will be advised on any work required and will be charged at relevant rate. No parts will be replaced without the consent of the customer and the cost of parts and fitting will be advised before the work is carried out.
